So for those of you that look at my blog, I know you were or are wondering where I've been....well, I've been without a computer for the past month and I'm back home for a few days so I'm using my parent's computer. Of course the first thing I did was look at facebbok and myspace, but I also looked at Ryan Leslie's video(s) for "Addiction", yes, plural. He did two videos for the song and I was very turned off by 1) the quality and 2) the fact that there is a light-skinned girls version and a dark-skinned girls version. Does it matter? Why does Ryan have to justify why he was using darker-toned women at the end of his video...are they endangered? Seriously! I think it's a great idea to change the game of having mixed women in every video. It was a good look and he should have left it at that. The alternative video was wack and it would have been better if Cassie would have been in it. I would have done the video totally different, but I'm taking his budget into consideration. Honestly, the song is so hot that Ryan and Cassie could be singing against a white wall the entire time, but here is how I would have done it.
Ryan would have been a suave assasin hired to follow and get to know Cassie, they become friends and the more he learns and is around Cassie, the more me developes an "addiction." He develops a love for her, but he has a job to do. They have a romantic encounter, but Ryan never reveals his true agenda. At the end of the video he breaks into her apartment to kill her and it turns out that she was "addicted" to him. She had been watching him and it was all a set up, they had been hired to kill each other...only Cassie had the balls to do it. BANG! Ryan is dead and Cassie leaves behind everything.

Movin' on OUT!
I am bored beyond belief right now. I had an appointment to view this studio apartment downtown and when I call Rigo (landlord) noone picks up. I'm starting to second guess this Rigo guy...sounds shady, but for the price of this place Rigo could be Satan himself...with a t-shirt of my face with those little "anti" marks on it. You know...like that "no smoking" sign, but instead of a cigarette it's my face. I found a spot close to downtown for $500 a month which includes free internet and utilities. Keep in mind it's a studio and that's all that I want. I just want to focus on my photography for the rest of my time in Atlanta. I'm already tired of the city (because I'm broke), but I've met some great people here. I'm excited about this upcoming quarter. Most of my time will be in the studio and I have some great ideas! I really need to get this place. My lease is up on the 10th!
